Players MUST have played at least one season of organized lacrosse to be eligible to participate in the "game only" league -
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Overview
- Games ONLY- No practices
- SUNDAYS ONLY
- SEVEN game schedule
- Trained ADULT supervision on all fields
- Full field 12 on 12 lacrosse
- Players will be placed on the same team with others from their youth group or high school
- 23 players per team to maximize playing time
- Certified referees will officiate all games
- Players receive a game jersey to keep
- Post game "tip card" with positive messages on competition, sportsmanship and training drills
Players MUST provide their own equipment: a stick and
protective eyewear.
We DO NOT rent equipment for league play.

Due to a sudden and grave family medical emergency involving our dear Brother and Director of Operations Dennis Stewart the schedule for Sunday Sept 27 has been modified.
Sidney Lanier ONLY - All games are CANCELED
these games will be made up on Oct ober 11
Word of Grace - All games will be PLAYED as scheduled
(There are NO girls games scheduled at WOG on Sep 27)
** Division structure, schedules including starting and ending dates, game times and locations are subject to change based on final registrations. Some age groups may be combined to provide a positive league experience.

Fall League
NO PRACTICES -- GAMES ONLY -- SUNDAY GAMES
Game "only" with a POSITIVE Difference
Experienced players have the opportunity to sharpen their game skills in a competitive, organized, and safe league. With Sunday games players can play their primary fall sport and come out and play a game each weekend. Players will be placed on the same team with others from their High School or Youth group.
Trained ADULT supervision on all fields is the key to our ability to provide a quality game experience. Players will be placed on the same team with others from their High School or Youth group.
Due to the "game only" format ALL players MUST have played at least one season of organized lacrosse to be eligible to participate in the "game only" league - NO EXCEPTIONS.

DIVISIONS
Players will play at the level they will play in Spring 2010 season
High School Based on Fall 2009 school grade
Varsity* (11th and 12th graders) JV (9th and 10th graders)
* Exceptions may be made for 10th graders who played Varsity last spring or by HS coach recommendation.
Youth Divisions Based on AGE as of 12/31/09
*Players may play up in age groups NOT down
U-15 (No older than 14 as of 12/31/09)
Rising 9th graders MUST play in the JV division
U-13 (No older than 12 as of 12/31/09)
U-11 (No older than 10 as of 12/31/09)
U-9 (No older than 8 as of 12/31/09)
WHERE
Games Will be played at: Frost MS in Fairfax, Word of Grace in Chantilly, and Herndon MS in Herndon. Other convenient locations may be added.
WHEN
Start: September 20 End: November 8
NO games Columbus Day weekend Oct 11 - unless make-ups are needed
Game Times
Varsity and JV will play between 8:00am and 8:00pm
Youth Divisions will play between NOON and 8:00pm
COST:
$155 paid on or before $190 paid after NOON Sept 15
Discounts: *$10 OFF each immediate family member
* Family members MUST be registered in the same transaction

WEATHER CANCELLATION INFO
Nov 15 UPDATE - All Word of Grace games will go on as scheduled
As of 7am all Fairfax City fields are closed.
ALL 9am through Noon games are CANCELED.
Fairfax City Inspectors will re-evaluate the fields at 11am to determine if they will open the fields for games starting at 1pm.
